Outlook Junk Reporting Add-In Not working - No "Report Junk" option

I have installed the "Junk Reporting Add-in for Office 2007, 2010, 2013 (32bit).msi" from Microsoft on 2 computers with Outlook 2013 as part of Office 365. Both are currently on version 15.0.4693 (latest version). On one, when I right click on a message and go to the Junk options there is, as expected, the new "Report Junk" option. On the other, running on a Windows 8.1 system, that option is not there. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no effect.

Any ideas why the Add-In might not be working on the 8.1 computer? Anything I should try?

Thanks,

Hello Colin,

Does the user have any other add-in installed? This issue may occur if a conflict with a plug-in or an add-in causes the Junk Email Reporting Add-in to become disabled. We need to first check if the Junk Reporting Add-in is listed in the Add-in list under File > Options > Add-ins. If it's not in the list, it means the add-in is disabled or not installed successfully. To check if the Add-in is disabled, go to File > Options > Add-ins, switch the "Manage:" drop-down list to Disabled Items and press Go. Check if Junk Reporting Add-in is listed there. If so, highlight the add-in and click Enable.

Please let me know the result.

Steve,

Thanks! I felt stupid for not looking there when I read your note. It is not disabled, but this might be helpful for further diagnostics:

Under "Slow and Disabled Add-ins" it lists Microsoft Jund E-mail Reporting Add-in. It says that it wasn't disabled because it's in the always enable list. But it is the only item in the list with a start time of 1.859s.

Under Options -> Add-Ins, the Junk E-mail Reporting Add-in is one of the 3 listed in the Inactive group, along with Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing and the Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin. On the other computer, where it works, it is not listed under Inactive.

The only Disabled add-in is the old Search Indexer, msphtb.dll.

Any ideas? Could the fact that it's "Inactive" be related to my problem? How do I get it to be Active?

Thanks for your help,
Colin
